Fall Fun

Our Annual Fall picnic on Sept. 24, 2024 was a fun chance to visit together, play together and eat a scrumptious lunch together! Thanks to all who shared music and food!

We enjoyed playing in one large circle, and were glad for the chance to visit with old friends and meet some new! The Studio was indeed a fine venue for an “indoor picnic”.

Our host group for this gathering was the “Joyful Noise” group that meets regularly in the Bridgewater Retirement Community at Maple Terrace. They played several tunes for us, including “Down to the River to Pray”, a gospel tune that was included in the movie “Brother, Where Art Thou?”

We are always glad to hear pieces that other club members are working on! Enjoy several sound snippets of our group on this very fine almost-fall day! Thanks for sharing!

The “National Anthem” of dulcimer players is always a good one to include!

We also practiced together a selection for our Christmas Concert that will be held on December 14 at 2 pm in the Bridgewater Retirement Chapel. So, keep practicing those Jingle Bells and bring the tab to our December gathering on December 14! Please share with any club members who were not able to be present at our September gathering! You can download these on our “Songs of the Month” page.
