FALL – TIME OF TRANSITION AND CHANGE

DULCIMER GATHERING – OCT 18, 2025

The  October 18 DULCIMER GATHERING HAS MANY CHANGES:
It will be at the Bridgewater Retirement Community—- NOT The Waynesboro Library.

It will be from 1:30 – 3:30pm in the Shenandoah Room—-NOT at 10:30a.m.

It will be led by Lori Lineweaver and Dinah Ansley—-NOT Pride of the Blue Ridge Group.

AND—It will be a time to LEARN GROUP TUNES FOR THE HOLIDAY PROGRAM, which will be on Dec.13th, at the Bridgewater Retirement Community, in room Mack A&B.

Several tunes have been chosen for GROUP PLAYING AND AUDIENCE SING-A-LONG at the Dec. 13th program.  These include:
      Jingle Bells (DAD and DAA) – arr. D. Ansley
Jingle Bells in 3 Parts by Ron Zuckerman from Dulcimer Tab
Up on a Housetop – arr. D. Ansley
Good King Wenceslas – arr. D. Ansley
Good King Wenceslas as a round – arr. D. Ansley

There might also be other tunes for GROUP PLAYING AND AUDIENCE SING-A-LONG.  Area Coordinators need to provide tunes and a leader.

After our LEARNING TIME, and break and refreshments, there will be an opportunity for anyone to “showcase” what someone has been working on.  Then we will play jam tunes from the Dave Haas jam book.

Down the River We Go, Grey Cat on a Tennessee Farm, John Stinson #2, Liza Jane, Mississippi Sawyer, Old Joe Clark, Old Molly Hare, Soldier’s Joy, When the Saints Go Marching In, Will the Circle Be Unbroken.
