Wormy Chestnut Dulcimer – asking price $300

This wormy chestnut dulcimer has a slightly deeper box than many dulcimers, giving it a full sound, great for jams and group playing. The maker is Jack Fergueson. It has heart-shaped sound holes, and a shaped head. It has 4 strings, but has side fixtures to allow a “drop string”, to play only three strings, often preferred for fingerpicking. It does NOT have a 1 1/2 fret. Wormy chestnut is not as readily available as some other woods, making this a special find! It comes with its own black canvas zippered carry bag.
